Pepsi has decided to get into the Christmas spirit by releasing a new flavor for the holidays. While I am all for a themed beverage, this new flavor has fans of the berverage divided. Introducing Pepsi Gingerbread flavor.
Pepsi Has A New Gingerbread Flavor
Pepsi released the news about its new Zero Sugar Gingerbread flavor yesterday and it left fans feeling divided. While some comments were positive, like "Nice.?" and "Yes, yes, yes, and yes" others were not as optimistic.
Some fans of the popular drink found the new Gingerbread flavor to sound repulsing. Users on X wrote comments like, "I'll pass and "I just gagged thinking about this." However one thing all the fans seem to have in common is their frustration over how Pepsi is choosing to launch their new Gingerbread flavor beverage.
Rather than selling this new Christmas-festive flavor in stores, they are offering a giveaway. On their Instagram post they wrote, "Head to PEPSI.com from now until 12/11 to get a chance to win our most delicious DROP yet."
Fans were annoyed at the lack of ability to just try the new flavor. Comments like, "Just sell it so more people can try it" and "Why cant you just sell it?" came flooding in. The drink comes in a brown can and features classic festive flavors such as cinnamon, ginger, brown sugar, and molasses.
If you are looking to get your hands on this unique new flavor then you must enter the giveaway. Daily Mail shares that the drink is already sold out "on the brand's TikTok shop." Apparently there are some people in the world who are interested in trying this new, festive flavor.
