I hate seafood, dear readers, so to see a woman take on 70 in one sitting is enough to make me queasy.
Georgiana, with almost 420K followers on TikTok, has been undertaking a strange series of challenges. To eat as many oysters as she can in one sitting. And the thought of all that mucus slime swimming around in her stomach makes me want to remove mine from my body.
At the dawn of the new year, Georgiana thought it would be a good idea to hit up a local seafood restaurant in London to take them up on their £1 per oyster deal to consume 70 of them for £70. She uploaded the video of her practically chugging down dozens of oysters.
And yeah, it's grim.
This isn't the first time she's done this (I thought she was awfully familiar). In September last year, Georgiana sat at the same chain to break her record of oysters eaten in one sitting. At the time, her record was 50. She broke it with 60.
And now she's done 70.
I'm sure it won't be long before she consumes 100 oysters by her lonesome.
Internet Reacts To Woman Who Ate 70 Oysters In One Sitting
Others are as grossed out by the feat as I am, and took to the comments.
"70 sea snots please," one hilariously writes.
"I just know the staff was back there talking about you ?," writes another, and I'm sure they definitely were. When Georgiana ordered the platter, the waiter had to double-check in surprise.
"I love oysters but the thought of 70 of them sloshing around in your stomach is making me ill," another says. Even oyster fans are losing their minds about this.
Many commenters were also questioning whether eating that many oysters is even safe. Considering she's eaten 60 before, I'm sure she wouldn't be eating even more if there were adverse effects. Although consuming so much of anything can be a little bad for you.
"70 Anything would hurt my stomach," one rightfully comments.
Although I'm interested in seeing Georgiana consume 100 of these for the sake of it, I also really don't want to see it.
