There are a few things in my life closer to my heart than chicken wings, which is worrying for my cholesterol. So, when I saw that Buffalo Wild Wings had brought back their all-you-can-eat wings, my stomach rejoiced, although my arteries did not.
This isn't the first time Buffalo Wild Wings has had their all you can eat deal, of course. It returns year after year, but this time it's bigger and better. Rather than only having the option available on Monday and Wednesday, they added multiple days. Now you can gorge yourself on wings from Monday until Thursday.
The pricing is more than fair, with no increase from last year, and in this economy, too! The Buffalo Wild Wings all you can eat deal stays at $19.99 for boneless and fries, and $24.99 for mix and match and traditional.
Can You Eat Them All?
$24.99 is quite a lot to pay for wings if you're not in the right state of mind to demolish chicken. As people have pointed out, if you're just going in there for a few wings, then one of the other Buffalo Wild Wings menu items is more economical.
However, head into the all-you-can-eat wings menu option with an empty stomach and the mindset to do damage, and it's worth it. Personally, I think a dollar a wing is a fair price to pay. So, if I'm going to hand over $25, I am not leaving until at least 12 chickens are permanently grounded.
I look forward to the new slew of challenge eaters seeing what they can do with the annual Buffalo Wild Wings all-you-can-eat challenge. Last year, there was a woman who spent a total of 12 hours in the restaurant. The previous record in that establishment was only 28 wings, which is a light snack. She managed to get through a total of 69 wings. The staff loved her devotion and her tips, of course.
With 26 sauces to try, it would be hard to get bored with all-you-can-eat wings. The popular restaurant chain makes sure they do its namesake proud with its variety. It's time to consume criminal amounts of protein.
