Expert Reveals Delicious Hidden Secrets Of Foraging

As we all know, the end is nigh, the collapse of society is only hours away, and groceries cost way too much. This is why you need to get on board with Black Forager and learn all the delicious secrets of the various plants you can acquire, for free, while foraging.

You may have heard of the act of foraging. It is the practice of hunting around in nature, looking for plants, berries, mushrooms, and other delicacies to eat. There is a wealth of tasty treats out there in nature if you know where to look, and how to prepare them.

Thankfully, Black Forager is there to guide you through the whole process. Done up in the most wonderful outfits, she unveils the many fantastic dishes that could be sitting right outside your door. Who knew that amid the leaves of your local park there exists an entire banquet of food, ready for your foraging?

Happy Foraging, Don't Die!

As Black Forager will often highlight, you can't just pick up anything you find on the ground and pop it in a pie. Some plants, mushrooms, and berries, in fact, quite a few of them, will make you rather ill. But, with her seemingly boundless knowledge, the differences between one mushroom and another are easily identified. Foraging can be a risk, but with the careful guidance of Alexis Nikole AKA Blackforager, you'll usually be okay.

But, she doesn't just stop at the collection and careful identification of delicious wilderness foods. Her Instagram is also full of all the recipes you need to turn your foraged findings into meals. Some of my favorites are the Mushroom Jerkey and obviously the Acorn Bacon. Following along with her quick and delightful videos, it's easy to turn your nature bounty foraging into an edible spread.

As the festive season rolls around, it may be worth checking out some of her recipes. Just because it's cold outside, doesn't mean there isn't a feast waiting to be found. Even in cold weather, there are plenty of meals to be discovered. Why not add a couple of fancy foraged flavors to your Christmas feast this year? It's good for your wallet, good for your health, and good for your tongue.
