As the world burns, and neighbors turn on one another in a political frenzy, the US needs something a glimmer of hope. Whataburger has stepped up to the plate and brought back two menu items that have fans overjoyed.
Pulled from the Whataburger vault are two menu items that have been highly requested, according to them. Participating restaurants will reintroduce both the Monterey Melt and the Chicken Fajita taco for a limited time.
These two Whataburger menu favorites are being reintroduced to celebrate its 75th birthday. This is actually an incredibly long time for a fast food joint to be still standing. It deserves to celebrate its birthday in style.
The Monterey Melt, on sale for $9.45, sounds delicious. "Two juicy 100% beef patties dripping in melty Monterey Jack and American cheeses, topped with grilled onions and peppers, and finished off with our signature Jalapeño Ranch sauce," Whataburger describes it.
Additionally, the Fajita Taco Wrap, on sale for $6.49, doesn't sound like one to miss either. "100% chicken breast, grilled to perfection, snug in a soft flour tortilla, getting toasty with seared onions, poblano, and red peppers," they entice.
The World Is Ready For The Whataburger Returns
Whataburger has provided the world with the pick-me-up it needs with its returning menu items. The internet is in celebration of the prospect of delicious fast food treats.

Nothing gets the US riled up more than their fast food. One woman who vowed to never return to Whataburger has finally ended her personal war against the burger outlet now the Monterey Melt is back. "The Monterey melt is back baby! I can finally stop boycotting #whataburger" she posted.
I am all for kicking up a fuss when fan favorites disappear from a menu though. Let me clog my arteries the way I want to. That Monterey Melt does sound fantastic. My mouth is watering just at the idea of a Jalapeno Ranch.
Pheonix on X only makes my need for one worse too, as they post "Whataburger...the Monterey Melt is literally unholy levels of good goddammit." I need to get my teeth around one of these, pronto.
